I have made a shortcut for flipping the canvas through the edit > rotate/invert canvas > flip horizontal, but the problem with this method is it re centers the whole canvas on my screen. However, when I flip the canvas through the Navigator window, this re centering does not happen.
I've tried creating an action where I record myself flipping the canvas through the navigator window, but for some reason the pressing of that button isn't recorded.
EDIT: I figured it out. If you go to view > rotate/invert > flip horizontal then it only flips your view and not the canvas, which is what the 'flip horizontal' button in the navigator does. I made a shortcut from there and it works fine. Game pc download free full.

1What are Layers?
Layer is a function allows you to pile up different layers of work on top of one another.
(Example)This Alpaca character is made with 2 layers.
Layer 1 contains the “line drawing” and the layer 2 contains the “Colors”.
For example if you did everything on a single layer if you wanted to erase the colors you would have to take great care not to erase the lines as well. However, if you made layers,
you can easily erase the colors on Layer 2 without affecting the line art on Layer 1.
Now, we are going to explain to some basic uses of layers.
2How to use Layers
On the menu “Layer” or the buttons in the bottom right corner of Layer window, you can do operations such as “Create new layer”.
3Types of Layers
There are 2 types of layers.
a.)Draft Layer
You can change the layer type from the normal type to Draft Layer by double-clicking the layer and ticking in the box “Draft Layer” on Layer Property.
Double-click this.
↓
You will see a window like the one shown below.
You can change name of the layer here.。 ↓
In the top right corner, you will see a draft layer indication.
Draft Layer
・is not influenced by selections made by MagicWand, Bucket Tools. ・not visible when printed. ・will not appear in in jpg, png, bmp file formats(will not be applied to saved files either)
b.)Color layer, 8-bit layer, 1-bit layers
There are 3 different layer types as shown below.
※Color is a mixture of R(red), G(green) and B(blue). By entering values for each color, you can make a variety of colors. You can enter values from 0-255.
8-bit layers and 1-bit layers have an indication in the bottom right corner.
8-bit layer and 1bit layer are much smaller in size and the operations are faster.
When you are drawing black-and-white lines only, it would be useful to draw in 8-bit or 1-bit layer.
Applied
The 3 types of layers can be selected when creating a layer but even after you made one, you can still change them by clicking “Convert” and making modifications in it. (However, if you convert a colored illustration made on color layer into 8-bit or 1-bit, the the color in the layer will turn to grayscale.
Moreover, 8-bit and 1-bit layers can be converted into another color(other than black but one color only). If you right-click on the layer somewhere, the foreground color will be changed to the color you right-clicked on.
Because only one color can be applied, lines that have already been drawn will be converted to the color you designated.
4Finding Layers
While drawing, when “I don’t know which layer I applied this color to” kind of moment happens, hold down the “A” key ( what the pointer looks like) and click on the color or line you are looking for.
5Locking layers
If you lock a layer, the layer cannot be edited at all.
In case you would like to protect a completed layer or you don’t want to draw anything but still need it visible, this function can be used to prevent from unwanted changes to finished layers.
The locked layer will have a lock sign on it.
Applied : Utilize layers for more efficient coloring
If you use the layer function, coloring can be done without going out of the lines.
a.)Protect Alpha If you tick in the box “Protect Alpha”, the transparent parts will be protected and you will not be able to draw on anywhere except for the parts you’ve already drawn on. You can set the Protect Alpha for each layer. (Example) If you drew an Alpaca character like the picture above when “Protect Alpha” is turned on, you cannot draw on any other area other than the Alpaca.b.)ClippingIf you tick in the box “Clipping”, you can only draw on the layer one below the layer you applied clipping to.If you see the picture here, for layer 2, you can only draw on areas where Alpaca character is drawn on layer 1. When coloring, if you apply clipping on the layer contains a “Basecoat”, applying shadow becomes easier. (3)Drawing shapes
1Making colored shapes
If you use the Fill Tool, you will be able to create a shape filled with color inside.
①You have the option of creating a “Rectangle”, “Ellipse” or “Polygon”
Rectangle and Ellipse can be created by dragging. For polygon, you will need to click on certain points and double-click on the very last point to finalize creating the shape. ②If you click on “RoundCorner”, the corners of the shape will become round. Values can be entered from either drop-down menu or be input directly. ③You can also designate the opacity of the shape.
How to draw a triangle
2Making shape outlines
If you use the Select Tool, you can draw shape outlines(without coloring inside).
A shape can be chosen from “Rectangle”, “Ellipse” and “Polygon”.
This tool has the same operations with the Fill tool’s polygon mode.
After a selection is created, go to menu and click “Select” – “Draw Selection Border”
After a menu window opens, set the “Location to draw” and “Thickness” and then click “OK”.
For the selection border, “Inside”, “Outside” or “On Boundary” can be selected depending on the purpose.
The thickness can be increased/decreased by clicking the arrows or you can just directly input the values to it.
A rectangle made only using an outlines is drawn.
※This is one way to draw comic panels but when dividing comic panels, Koma Material(comic panel divider) which allows you to do “transform”, “change size” and “delete” is more efficient.
How to cel shade. A step-by-step tutorial of this popular shading technique as seen in anime and digital art.
This cel shading tutorial was made in TVPaint, but this method will work in Photoshop, Manga Studio, or any other program that lets you work with multiple layers.
KEY POINTS:
Choose Your Base Colors.
– After the line work of your drawing is complete, figure out the color of the skin, hair, eyes, clothing, etc. In the case of this elephant, he’s purple.
Create a new layer underneath the line drawing layer.
Then select the paint bucket tool. The source of the paint bucket is set to “above”, which means that it will refer to the drawing layer above when adding colors. (note: the lines should be connected. If there are gaps in the line, the colors will bleed through and color the whole picture).
Define the Light Source
– The direction of the light source will determine where you place highlights and shadows.
Drawing the Highlights and Shadows
– Create a new layer above your line work layer.
Select the color of your highlights (lighter and warmer than base color).
Draw the outline of where the highlight will be.
Select the paint bucket, and put the source on “layer”.
Now touch the space inside the lines of your highlight. The highlight should be filled in with color now.
For the shadows, pick a darker and colder color, and repeat the same process for highlights (create a new layer, draw the outline of the shadows, fill in the shadaws with the paint bucket).
TIPS:
You can adjust the opacity on the layers of your highlights and shadows. If your highlights or shadows seem too intense, 50% opacity can give a more harmonious look since the base colors will blend with the other layers. Play around with opacity.
Using pure white for highlights and pure black for shadows will flatten the picture.
You can create more layers to add highlights on the highlights and deeper shadows in the shadows

Tool That Copies Color
I wrote this for another reviewer, but I do not see his/her review anymore. I believe the Tool That Copies the Exact Color is the EYEDROPPER, of which there is one inside the app. You can find it by scrolling all the way down the left toolbar which also contains the pencil, the brush, the bucket, and several other tools. Then long-press on a color and the eyedropper picks up that color. You will see the picked-up color on the other toolbar - the toolbar with the colors. The picked-up color will show on the top square. Also there is a User's Manual which you can download from the website right on your iPad or phone. Just tap on 'ArtStudio' on the top toolbar at your left. Then look 4 spaces down and you will see the User's Manual. Tap on that and it will take you to the website. From there you can 'open in iBooks' if you like and save the User's Manual in iBooks for future reference. I hope that helped. - I wrote a review back on December 19, 2015 and here it is: I have had and used this app for several years. It's my app for creating just about anything I choose. I have used it to create cartoon characters, backgrounds, text, photo editing; with filters and distortion, and more. It's indispensable! I only wish I can go out and buy an iPad Pro or something greater than my old iPad. Ooooh, I would also love an Apple Pencil. Are you listening Santa?
Worth every penny
This app is by far the best app I could possibly recommend to any artist. I started with the light version at first because the price was a bit hard to swallow, but seeing as how the quality was less I had to see if the full was worth it, and it 100% totally is. I personally enjoy it for photography purposes as well as digital art. It's like a mini photoshop you can have on your phone for half the price. I import my photography, and with the array of tools they offer I can completely take out parts of the photo that were distracting, like a awkward cloud in the sky or telephone pole. You name it. For digital art, the app offers so many techniques and tools you can use to Make whatever you want and really I just can't express enough my appreciation and love for the app. If I had one request, it would be to make a laptop version that's equally affordable and easy to use. I often conquer big projects using this app and when enlarged on the computer the quality sometimes decreases. Having this program in my Mac I feel could eliminate that. But over all a terrific app!
Wish more apps were like this
This is a terrific image and drawing app with a powerful set of features. But what I like most about it is that is uses a desktop menu structure:
File, Edit, etc. This allows the app to have a very robust feature set without the user having to learn yet another gesture interface like you do for every other app. Everything is where you expect it to be but the menus stay out of the way when you are working. Using a desktop menu structure is probably frowned upon by some, but I wish more apps would use it because in many instances, it's simply more efficient. I do wish the font tool was a little better, such as leading adjustment, and better text drop shadow handling. Also, a killer feature would be the ability to add new fonts, perhaps as an in-app purchase. Information
